Likely to be Impulsive
Has little appreciation for cause and effect - no concern for
consequences of impulsive action.
Has difficulty budgeting his or her time - tasks are often not
completed and organizational skills are lacking.
Has difficulty paying attention over time - inattentive, day dreams,
wiggles, lacks continuity in doing or sticking to
a task.
Has difficulty spelling - spelling is largely phonetic and student is
reliant on auditory short-term memory.
Has difficulty in mathematics - multiplication and fractions are much
harder than adding and subtracting...word
May read and lack comprehension - lacks access to the logic areas that
give meanings to the symbols, even though
the symbols may be recognized and read. A creative,
multi sensory thinking child will fill in between the the words

Has difficulty answering questions about what he had read - is presumed
to be inattentive while reading and
Is often well coordinated and does well athletically; or can be
uncoordinated.
Is intuitively gifted, and therefore is very sensitive and prone to
being emotionally immature, easily hurt or
Tends to think in a high percentage of pictures and feelings instead of
in logical and abstract thoughts; stores If you were
nodding your head 'yes' while
you read through this list, then there is a
high probability that your child is
a 3-D Thinker...and therefore a 3-D
Learner.
The fact is, the root cause of these issues often comes from the fact
that approximately 15% of all U.S. children are 3 dimensional thinkers,
and a
great number of those experience some form of dyslexia, which could
include any of an identified 86
labeled learning disabilities.
Luckily,
thanks to a number of recent studies and research into the
human mind, we now know how to free
those
children from the frustration
and low self-esteem that often results from their reading
difficulties.

Truth # 1.
For a 3-D learner or dyslexic to think with a word,
he or she must have
3 piece of
information. What the
word looks like, what it sounds like, and what it
means. Unfortunately with conventional learning techniques what they
get is...What it looks like, and what it sounds like only. Memorization
is required from there, and memorization for
those suffering from
reading difficulties associated with dyslexia simply does NOT work.
Truth
# 2. The dyslexic IS a 3-D
learner and thinker and views everything in 3 dimensions. That's why
the words such
as 'dinosaur' and 'mountain' are easily comprehended,
while the abstract words like 'when' or 'the' create a stumble.
While
3-D thinking works great in the real world, it creates havoc in the 2-D
world of the written word.
Truth
# 3. The3-D learner is a whole
word learner, NOT a phonetic learner. He or she can decode words, but
often
at the expense of comprehension. Therefore, so much time is spent
trying to decipher the word, that he or she forgets what has already
been read.
Truth
# 4. Dyslexic symptoms are
consistently
inconsistent. This is the part that continues to baffle those involved
in
the world of science, education, and research. For example, the word
'the' is read as 'the' in one
sentence, and then for
no reason it becomes another word like 'a' or
'of' in the next sentence, or causes a hesitation,a skipped
word,
or a skipped
line. There's just no rhyme or reason to the chaos.
Truth
# 5. Dyslexia requires one to
learn how to manage his or her own 'Mind's Eye' in order to stabilize
perception and meaning of symbols. We'll discuss this
more fully in a moment.

As you can
see, we're not just talking pocket change here. Until now, you've been
looking at
thousands of dollars to address the problem no matter which of those
other options you choose.
And, on top of the cost of those options, is the inconvenience of
having
to drive to the school or facility to conduct the sessions. So not only are those other options expensive, they are expensive
hassles.
Earlier I told you that my goal when first deciding to create this
program was to make it accessible to as many families across the globe
as needed it. And by accessible, I mean affordable. What use would the
greatest program in the world be
if it was out of reach for most
families?
Instead...
When I first
launched the program I knew I would eliminate the competition
by not only having the best solution on the planet, but to offer it at
a fraction of the cost of anything else out there, AND
structure it so
that it could be administered in the comfort of home with a flexible
schedule.
So I decided on the reasonably competitive price of $1,297.
The product sold extremely well, parents were thrilled, and kids were
making huge breakthroughs for the first time in
their lives!
But after a while, I decided that even that wasn't good enough, so I
went back to the drawing board, optimized the manufacturing process,
streamlined the ordering process, negotiated a better lease on my
warehouse space, and tightened down just about every other facet of the
operation...
By doing so, I was able to cut the price all the way down to an unheard
of price of only...

"I've
been teaching for over 17 years in special
education, and I have never been more 'Sold' on any program!"
Sharon Murden, McDonough, GA

Your techniques have transformed reading and spelling in our home! My son was having a difficult time in school; reading and spelling were impossible. Homework time was a daily battle.
Since starting your program, he scores 100's on every spelling test, his reading continues to improve, and homework is an easy routine. This simple yet remarkable program is the answer to years of frustration and prayer!

I wanted to write you to let you know that your Learning To Read Program has had a direct positive impact on my son’s, Matthew’s, ability to read. Matthew has enjoyed three primary benefits from the program.
First, his reading fluency has improved, because his ability to recognize the 300 or so site words eliminates most of the delays and hesitations that had occurred before using Bill’s system.
Second, Matthew’s comprehension
continues to
improve allowing him to better enjoy reading. Third, he now sees
himself as a better reader which becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy for
future reading gains.
We continue to work your system for additional improvements. Thanks for
your sincere interest in helping Matthew.

My daughter, Megan, has completed the Learning to Read Program. Since she began, I have noticed a definite improvement in her reading abilities.
She no longer feels like she is being left behind. We were delighted when she scored above grade average on the reading standardized testing.

Luke is in third grade this year. He’s always been a conscientious child, doing what he’s told and wanting to please. According to his coaches, he is athletic and coordinated.
But home schooling was becoming more and more frustrating because he was still struggling with beginning reading, and the reading level in his assignments was beyond him. It was painful to sit by and listen to him read.
He would surprise me by easily reading words like "beautiful" or "vacation," then we’d almost cry while he struggled over an abstract little word "the," "her," or "what."
He ignored punctuation marks, failing to pause at the end of a sentence. Spelling was impossible. He was as frustrated as I was and was comparing himself with other kids his age. He thought he was just dumb.
When I went to a home school conference in late summer, Bill Allen’s Learning Dimensions workshop caught my eye and I decided to go. I didn’t intend to buy the program but I thought maybe I could get some pointers on teaching reading and spelling. I still wasn’t ready to admit that my son might be dealing with dyslexia.
At that workshop, Bill described my son’s difficulties exactly. When I learned that I could do the Learning to Read Program at home on the couch, that was huge benefit. I didn’t want to go to a doctor or therapist. I didn’t need a label for my son. I just needed a method to teach him to read and spell. The Learning To Read Program was the clear solution.
From the first page of the first book, I felt like we were cracking the code of Luke’s learning style. It was like a game—one that he could win – and things changed quickly. I could teach him to spell a word one day and a week later he still knew how to spell that word. He stopped skipping words and by the second book, he was stopping for punctuation marks.
He could write sentences with the right punctuation too. We started having spelling tests again, and though the words were still below grade level, he aced every test and was progressing consistently. I could leave him to do his school work for periods of time and he didn’t get upset or just space out.
Sometimes, he would come to me for help, and I would have him "check his star," or mind’s eye, and then he would be on track again.
One day, when we were in the middle of the third Learning To Read book, I walked into the living room and stopped. Luke was lying on the couch reading a Magic Treehouse book. It wasn’t an assignment. I hadn’t told him to read it.
He was reading because he wanted to—just for the fun of it! I probably shouldn’t have interrupted, but I did. I gave him a big hug. "You’re reading! You’re reading a book! Is it good? What’s happening?" He smiled thoughtfully and told me I could leave so he could finish.
A couple of days later, Luke told me that he understood now why his sisters liked to read so much. He said, "Mom, it’s like you forget where you are or something. You kinda go into the world of the book. That’s really cool!

Our daughter is a bright 10 year old who has struggled with reading since the first grade. We watched as she tried so hard, yet came up so short. Testing twice through the schools showed nothing was “wrong” with her.
We were willing to do anything to help her, then we began your Learning To Read Program. The progress she showed was immediate. She continues to get stronger by applying the skills provided through your books! We are eternally grateful!

My son, Joshua has struggled with trying to learn phonics since K5. No matter how much repetition, he just couldn’t get it. By third grade he was reading ok but still stumbled over the simplest words and flip flopping and blending words. It took much effort on his part to make it through a book. He could not spell the simplest words.
When I found this program and heard Mr. Allen speak, I heard him describe my son to a tee. We have now completed the books and are still using the reading and spelling techniques that were taught with the program.
I have seen my child\'s confidence grow as he has progressed. He is now at his grade level and is enjoying reading. We still have much work to do, but are absolutely thrilled with the results we have received from this program.

Reading comes so easy for some and can be such a painful challenge for others. My parents were avid readers and I remember the first words I read on a TV show when I was young and I was hooked.
It never was a struggle and came easy. My mother showed me that reading can be an adventure. To have a child that not only struggles with expressing himself but also turns off when it comes to reading is painful to watch.
3-D Learning affects not only reading but also comprehension, as there are many forms of reading disabilities. I felt he was smart and was learning coping skills to get around his challenges. I thought that if I had a key or a road map, it would be so much easier for us.
We have tried so many different
treatments and tutors, and not one of them was the single thing. I feel
all have helped, but my child was not getting the improvement I was
looking for. My son’s dad was diagnosed in high school with dyslexia
and even though he was rudimentarily treated, he still struggles at
times with it today.
I met Bill Allen by the hand of a higher source at a
business-networking meeting where we ended up sitting next to each
other and started talking about what we do for business.
There sitting next to me was someone with a key to unlock potential and with tools to help our child through his oh so painful struggle. My son is in 2nd grade and in December the teachers felt he would have to go to the extended school year, be held back or perhaps even go to private school next year.
We buckled down on using Learning To Read Program. He just had a review at the end of April, and he has improved 300+% on reading scores. Comprehension all the way around has improved and conversation dialogue is improving as well.
One of the benefits of the program I see is that it gives words a dimension in the brain so that someone who struggles with reading can give shape, sound and meaning to words, especially on words that don’t have that kind of construction. (example: the word “and” vs. “tree) You can envision “tree” but not “and.” Punctuation and writing are what we are working on as well.
The program doesn’t take a lot of time, just a commitment of 15/30 min day. We do take some days off. My son loves the interactive game feel of the program. Thanks Bill for being passionate about what you do and taking on your challenge to help others.

My son is in the 6th grade and has struggled for years with reading and writing. The results of testing showed good comprehension, but horrible fluency.
He stumbled over simple words and phrases. He would become frustrated with writing and quit before his thoughts were completely expressed.
When we used Learning To Read Program, his fluency soared! He is a stronger, happier young man because of his improved skills, and more confident of his intelligence.

After our 7-year-old son was diagnosed as dyslexic, we discovered Learning To Read Program. From the very start our son was engaged and interacting with the books.
He grasped the techniques quickly and he even began working independently with the books. Using your MELT™ techniques, his reading and writing abilities have improved to the point where he is initiating reading "more exciting books" and writing his own comic books.
Instead of avoiding anything associated with letters and words, as he did in the first months of school, he now attacks reading, word problems and spelling armed with the techniques from Learning To Read Program. While we brought your program into our family for our oldest son, to our delight his four year old brother was eager to get involved also.
Now, not only has big brother been successful with the program, it has brought our youngest into the world of reading as well. We believe that through the use of your program, our sons are equipped with the tools they need to be successful in school... and life!

Thank you for Learning To Read Program! My son, Lee, has had remarkable results. His spelling has improved and he made a B+ (89-92) in language arts this year at a school where there is no accommodation whatsoever for his dyslexia.
He drafted his application essay for high school and I was amazed at how few misspelled words there were on his first draft. He is more confident about his learning ability.
I would not hesitate to recommend this program to anyone.
Learning To Read Program is affordable, able to be understood and facilitated by a parent, and is extremely successful.

My name is Hollie Zuringue. My husband and I have one son named Caleb. When Caleb went to preschool he was like all the other children. He learned his alphabet song and the shapes and knew all the songs just like the other children. Then in 1st grade we noticed that Caleb was falling behind in reading.
He hated to read and was embarrassed to read in front of his classmates. He could memorize a spelling list and pass the test. The next week he would not know how to spell the words he just knew.
So we decided to send him to a private tutoring center. He went here for years and we paid thousands of dollars. He still had trouble in reading. He would make up words in a story and it was hard for him to read fluently.
Caleb was now in 4th grade and we didn't know what else to do. We were not parents that had ignored his reading struggles and yet it was still there. Out of desperation, my husband got on the internet and typed on Google "Reading for boys." One site that came up was the Learning To Read website.
My husband read the information and answered questions that were on the site. He said, "This is Caleb. All that I'm reading on this site is what Caleb is going through in his reading and spelling." So we called and talked to Mr. Allen and ordered the program.
What could we lose?
The price was nothing in comparison to what we had already spent. I'm only on book 3 with Caleb and already he is now reading fluently. He even wants to read another chapter in the books we read.
I'd say this program is not only a success, but a MIRACLE!!!!
Thanks Bill Allen for loving children.

and your child all the success and happiness the world has to offer!
